By accessing or using the Valoria Institute website, assessment platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
Valoria Institute operates a professional marketplace and assessment platform for African professionals and employers. Our Services include:
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to use the Services to:
All content on the platform, including the PRIME framework, VALU Index, assessment questions, and methodology, is the intellectual property of African Talent Bureau Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Your assessment results and profile content remain your property, and you grant us a licence to display them as part of the Services.
VALU Index scores and designations are generated based on your responses to the assessment. Results are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of completion. We reserve the right to invalidate results where gaming, inconsistency, or other integrity concerns are detected. Designations do not constitute a guarantee of employment, engagement, or professional success.
The VALU Index assessment is free to take. Certain Services, including speaker bookings, facilitator commissions, and certification programmes, may incur fees. All fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD) and are payable before service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, though certain provisions (including intellectual property and liability) survive termination.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, African Talent Bureau Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or NGN 100,000 if no payment was made.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
